In bankruptcy, creditors are concerned with the debtors proposals in terms
of the reasonability of the plan of reorganization and the probability of achieving its
targeted profitability and cash flow after emerging from bankruptcy. Creditors are also
concerned as to how value is maximized, is this the best reorganization proposal
available, could a more creative plan increase recovery, what is the break up value of the
business, etc.
Given the nature of our previous equity fund and experience in developing actionable
turnaround and recovery plans for the fund and for clients, GrandWest, with its operating
and financial experience, can provide sound guidance for creditor committees.
